Very raciest only if your black and you cant go two feet down the street without being harassed and pulled over. Lee county is corrupt, as small as the town is why is there more police there than in Raleigh and Charlotte. Every time you go to a stoplight you have a 85% chance of being followed and stopped. The other 15% is being followed and watched wherever you go.........ILLEGAL investigations and searches are like a game of football. Who can catch the most people wins. And the lies are ridiculous. For all you know your car or anything left outside in your yard is being used as a package for them to "Supposedly" have a right to search you.....even when it is them who planted it. And you are bound to see the same police officers attempting to follow you out of their jurisdiction into another county. Or even following you out of their jurisdiction just because they carry a badge. If you are black and have a nice car....you should be prepared to be stopped and assaulted. They figure all black people are criminals and cant afford nice things or new things. I am 22yrs old and have been getting stopped by the Lee county police even before I had my license. I was on foot. No Exaggeration.....6 times in one week to search my car just because they said I looked suspicious. I was not issued a ticket or citation and there was never any probable cause. I was asked about drugs and weapons......All of my windows were down so you could clearly see inside that there was nothing to hide. I have a college degree and was spoken to as if I were a 4yr old and treated as if I were incompetent and a complete animal. My best advice....STAY OUT OF LEE COUNTY and if you get stopped be sure to record and have a Lawyer on speed dial or on the phone. And if you are harassed go file a complaint ASAP at the court house.....P.S They don't play with you so why should you play with them. Cops are not your friends people.
